Brain Development and Disorders Project at MIT


Asperger Syndrome is inspiring new research experiments at MIT. The purpose of the experiments is to investigate how people with Asperger’s Syndrome think about themselves. The Brain Development and Disorders Project a combination of questionnaires and MRI scanning to investigate this question. Coming in for the study would involve two visits to MIT; the first to answer questionnaires which investigate what you are like and how you think about yourself, and the second to undergo an MRI scan to look at how your brain thinks about yourself and other people.

The cogniteve & affective neuroscience laboratory of john gabrieli is also leading
some research with Asperger’s Syndrome. They are looking forward for new research participants. The goal of this study is to understand how people with Asperger's Syndrome think about themselves and others. If you are interested in finding out more about the study.
